Its is probably safe to say that Hangover will be the funniest ovie of 2009. I know its only June, but i havent laughed this much in a cinema for a long time. hangover is probably obe of the funniests oviews of all time. Why has hangover so funny? Well, its a combination of good actors, funny screen play, unique over the top scenes and some killer guy jokes!

Anyone who has watched hangover absolutely loves it and keeps talking about how funny it is. So, if you missed hangover in the cinema then make sure you rent Hangover when its out on DVD to rent. When is Hangover out on DVD? Find out now by checking the rental site but we think its going to be late this year! What a great Christmas present Hangover it could be!

Anyway to the point of this blog post…. Is Hangover worth renting? YES, YES and OH YES! It will make you laugh from the start all the way till the end. In Hangover DVD four guys embark on a stag party in Sin City! Yes, Vegas baby! From the moment they get there it goes horribly wrong as a mistake with a pill goes quite bad (you’ll find this out at the end).

Hangover the movie is played back at times as they try to rember what happened to their stag party! All they know is that they awak withought the missing groom. They then embark on a mission to find him. During this mission you will see Mike Tyson, a real tiger, chickens in their penthouse, Heather Mills (whos is still gorgeous) pleaying a prostitute, a chinese gay midget or should i say short man, triads, bed on hotel roofs, and plenty plenty more random stuff that will make you chuckle!

Transformers is back in 2009! Transformers 2 Revenge of the fallen is one of the 2009 summer blockbusters! Transformers 2 picks up where Transformers 1 finished. Remember the ending of Transformers 1? The Autobots won the battle of earth but now the battle of the universe is on its way! 

Should you rent Transformers 2? Yes! When is transofrmers 2 coming out on DVD? Transformers 2 Revenge of the fallen will be out of DVD late 2009. We dont know the exact date yet, but as soon as our sources tell us we will let you know! Then, just rent Transformers 2 from one of our recomended DVD rental sites. 

Starscream returns to Cybertron and takes control of the Decepticons. Meanwhile Scorpinox steals Megatron from the US army (as you do) and revives him using his own spark. Megatron, Starscream and the other decepticons team up and return to Earth to battle against the Autobots! 

Megan Fox looks hotter than ever in this movie! In fact she will probably be voted in the worlds top 5 women after every watched Transformers 2. Shes hot and not a bad actor too Michael Bay also brings back Shia LaBeouf who teams up with his grgeous girlfriend Megan. Apparently he could have had her in their personal life too, but he decided not too! Sure mate!

Transformers 2 Reven of the fallen is action packed, includes great special effects and is a good follow up to the first Transoformers. I highly recommend watching this in the cinema but also renting this on DVD when Transformers 2 is out!

My favourite bit of Transformers 2 is… any bit with Megan Fox in it!

Terminator Salvation is suprisingly a good movie! You will enjoy renting this on DVD and watching it at home, especially if you have surround sound! Terminator Salvation is definitely a movie you want to rent and watch with a good system. The special effects in Terminator Salvation are good, but what else do you expect from a director that loves making action packed fun movies. 

So, you’ve made the decision to rent Terminator Salvation or buy it… What should you expect? Well, Terminator Salvation starts by showing you how Markus Wright (Sam Worthington) turns from human on death row to the next robot/human created by Skynet. The movie then forwards to the future where John Conner gets involved. John Conner (Cristian Bale) is part of the human resistanse group fighting SkyNet. 

John Conner has to find his dad who is younger than him (yes… because he’s in the future) and save his dad Karl Reese from being captured and killed by SkyNet. He meets Markus on the way and they form a good alliance together in the battle against SkyNet. Do they Save daddy Karl? Well, rent and watch Terminator Salvation and find out! 

Watch out for Arnie making a re-appearance in Terminator Salvation!

You  will enjoy watching Deception on DVD. Its a very well planned thriller that captures your attention right from the start. Deception stars Ewan Mcgregor, Hugh Jackman and Michelle Williams. They all play their parts extremely well in Deception!

The plot in Deception follows an accountants boring single life but soon flips. He meets a colleague who introduces him to a anonymous sex club. Things are great in the begining, in fact I even wanted to join this sex club in Deception. However, a few lies ae uncovered and soon this amazing sex clubs turns into any persons nightmare. 

The accountant falls for one of his partners and gets involved in a tangle of lies, blackmail and theft. You should rent Deception if ou like dvd movies with a twist. Deception DVD has many twists, some rather predictable but there are a few at the end to make you want to rent Deception again  and again!

I really enjoyed watching the 300 movie in the Cinemas and about another 5 times on DVD. Its a great movie! So, I thought I watch the spoof version… Meet The Spartans DVD. 

If you’re looking for the same special effects in Meet The Spartans DVD as there were in the 300 DVD then you will be dissapointed however, it is definitely funnier which is the whole point. Meet The Spartans dvd follows the same story as 300. It shows how Leonidas grows up to become King of Sparta and decides to fight against Xerxes Persian army rather than become his slave. 

Meet The Spartans DVD is low budget but they have spent money on getting a celebrity cast. Carmen Electra plays King Leonidas wife. By the way, she looks absolutely stunning, so guys its worth rent Meet The Spartan on DVD just to watch or stare at Carmen Electra! Also, the fat guy from Borat is in Meet The SPartans and plays Persian Xerxes! He is pretty funny and still quite chubby!

The Notebook is the latest DVD movie I rented from LoveFilm. I rented The Notebook simply because a female friend told me it was her favourite movie on DVD of all time! I then spoke about The Notebook DVD to another friend and she told me the same!

My initial thoughts were…. Is The Notebook movie going to be a chick flick? The answer is no! The Notebook is a great DVD movie  and you should rent it. The Notebook DVD is a romantic love story and starts off with and old man (James Garner) reading a story to an old woman (Gena Rowlands) in a nursing home. The story is written from a Notebook (hence the title of this DVD).

The old man tells the story of a young couple who fell in love during the summer holiday back in the 1940s. Ryan Gosling who plays Noah in the Notebook approaches Rachael McAdams who plays Allies and then soon fall in love. Allies is from a wealthy family and her parents soon disapprove of this relationship. However, Allie has never been in love like this before. In fact, she has never been this happy or free before! Noah truly makes her happy. However, her parents do their best to split them up and eventually move to New York.

The Notebook DVD

Noah does his best to stay in touch but Allies parents hide all his letters. As the years past, Allies moves on and eventually meets a new man who she is just about to marry. However something changes, or should I say appears in the paper that makes her go back to meet Noah. Now she has to make a choice between her new rich husband or Noah her summer love!

The Notebook DVD is really a inspiring movie and you will even get a few goose bumps!  

I strongly recommend renting The Notebook on DVD as soon as you can! It’s a great movie and should have won best story in the Oscars, unfortunately the Notebook didn’t win any…. but what do they know eh!

My favourite part of The Notebook DVD is when she realises at the end who she is. The emotions are high!!!

Changeling was probably my favourite movie in 2008. Before you continue reading i recommend you rent Changeling now and then continue. Changeling should have won many Oscars, especially Best Movie and Angelina Jolie should have won Best Actress in Changeline. Changeling was monimated for 3 Oscars but thats not enough! It is simply magnificent!

Changeling is another Clint Eastwood masterpiece. Changling is set in 1928 and follows the life of Christine Collins (Angelina Jolie) who works at a local Telephone Exchange. He son is kidnapped whilst she is at work. She contacts the police and asks for help but the police do not want to help her. The case of her missing song soon becomes and pain for the poilce and they try to cover it up by pretending to have found her son. Angelina is given a new son (crazy I know) but she denies that this new boy is her son. The police claim she is crazy and lock her up.

Have you rented Changling yet? If not, then i’ll continue! Whilst Angelina is in jail Pastor Gustav Briegleb fights against the corrupted police and helps get Angelina out! They continue looking for her son and fight the corrupted police. Soon… new evidence appears which shocks the whole community! 

Changeling is such a great movie and I will probably rent this a few times this year! Angliena play the role extremely well and John Malkovich is well…. John Malkovich! If you liked Changeling feel free to post a comment!

I just watched No Country For Old Men after renting it from LoveFilm. It was definitely a wise choice as I really enjoyed the movie! 

The Coen brothers start off with Llewelyn Moss hunting and then finding $2 million dollars amongst a pile of dead bodies as drug deal goes bad. In No Country for Old Men Tommy Lee plays a cop who tries to find Llewelyn and the money before Anton Chigurh (psychopathic killer) find him and kills him. 

Woody Harrelson also stars in No Country for Old Men. He is hired to find the money and tries to protect Llewelyn too in exchange for the money but he ends up being chased byAnton the Psychopathic killer too. There is a lot of blood and alot of great scenes as they all try to stay one step ahead of each other… but who will survive and keep the $2 million dollars.

No Country for Old Men has won 4 Oscars and I would definitely recomend watching this great movie by the Coen brothers!

This is England is the UK version of Amercian History X. 

The movie follows a young boy Shaun (Thomas Turgoose) who gets bullied at school and livesa lonely life with his widdowed mother. Shaun soon gets involved in a gang of harmless skin heads and finds comforts and friends he can relate too. Shaun gets really close to his new pal Woody (Joseph Gilgun).  However the turning point of Ths Is England occurs when Combo (Stephen Graham) gets released from jail. 

This is England starts to pick up and Shaun has to make a decision between friends. Does he follow the harmless skin head Woody or does he follow the brutal racist Combo? I’ll let you find out by renting This Is England from Lovefilm or one of our other DVD rental companies.

I personally feel that this movie does not follow Woody enough. He is an interesting character and there is definitely more from him. I hope I havent given it away now!

Favourite part: just seeing Shaun with his girlfriend in This is England is funny enough!
